Why should you join?
The European Union’s climate and energy targets are increasingly ambitious as a result of the ongoing energy crisis. Public authorities all over Europe need to speed up their energy transformation despite the reduced availability of subsidies. This means they need to start using other-than-subsidies financing instruments.
We will explain the latest policy developments in relation to Fit-for-55 and REPowerEU, the gaps between the energy efficiency investment needs and the available public budget support, and the urgency to activate innovative and private financing solutions.
We will introduce you to a variety of innovative financing instruments for public investments and to various tools that can help you identify the best financing models for your projects.
You will get a flavour of the PROSPECT+ capacity-building programme we offer, which includes study and mentoring visits across Europe, and we will explain the current opportunity to join as a mentee or a mentor.
