PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Objectives:

Achieve reduction of energy consumption through recovering the heat from large scale refrigeration systems.

Characteristics:

Installation of three new refrigeration units with waste heat recovery system by Resalta for Ruvela (trades with small dairy producers and supplies large retail chains). The units cover one medium temperature storage room and two low temperature cold rooms. Besides being highly efficient and automated through multifunctional micro-processing controllers, the units will lower specific electricity consumption by 15%; 44 MWh of electric energy will be saved each year; reduction of CO2 emissions by 85 tons each year. Project size 104k levs and 94k leaves financing by FEEVI.
