The PROSPECT+ team met in-person for the 1st time in Brussels

On 17th Oct 2022

On the 13th and 14th of October 2022, the PROSPECT+ team met for the 1st time in-person in Brussels. The consortium comprises 11 partners covering the following European countries: Belgium, Netherlands, France, Ireland, Austria, Germany, Greece, Spain, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic. Click here to see who we are.

A four-year project aims to enable local and regional authorities to exchange knowledge and experience on innovative financing schemes for their sustainable energy and climate actions.

The project meeting started off with the project officer Cristina Mestre Martinez from CINEA introducing the current policy framework The Fit for 55 Package and REPowerEU.

Summary from the first learning cycle

The main points for discussion were the outcomes from the 1st learning cycle. In the 1st learning cycle, we engaged participants from 16 different countries. The graph and a map below display the participating local authorities and their geographical location.

Getting ready for the second learning cycle

We are currently in the process of reviewing received applications for the upcoming learning cycle 2 to ensure smooth matching between mentors and applied mentees. The groups will be announced at the end of October 2022.

Opportunities for public authorities

To further enhance knowledge sharing, PROSPECT+ has created the Community of Practice. The members will be invited to join various online meetings and webinars where they will be able to hear and talk about the most interesting examples of best practices from PROSPECT+ mentors and mentees.

Furthermore, there is a Financial Indicators Calculator available to help public authorities calculate financial indicators for your energy projects.
